Do you sit in your cockpit during a drop praying you will not see a Cheetah? If so, you suffer from Acinonyx jubatus phobia, fear of the Cheetah. No one blames you. In fact, everyone in the IS is afraid of the Cheetah. That is why you are called the Inner S'fear. It is only logical to fear the Cheetah. After all, if you survive the match, it is only because the Cheetah allowed it.

If Chuck Norris wanted to pilot a mech, it would be a Cheetah.

In the beginning there was Cheetah. Nothing else matters.

PGI put an eject option into mechs so Pilots did not have to face a Cheetah.

If you have 1 Cheetah on your team, what are the other 11 Mechs? It does not matter, you have a Cheetah.

You cannot put flamers on a Cheetah because the resulting heat would cause a Supernova.

If ilKhan Ulric Kerensky, had bid one Cheetah at the Battle of Tukayyid, there would not have been a Battle of Tukayyid.

A Cheetah does not really have JJ's. It is just gravity getting out of the Cheetahs way.

A Cheetah does not get released from a Drop Ship. The Cheetah releases the Drop Ship so it can fly away.

A Cheetah really does not have ECM. It is just that the targeting computers of other Mechs are too scared to target it.

E=MC2 Does not apply to a Cheetah.

If you are not in a Cheetah, you are in a support mech.

Black holes are Stars that got in the way of a Cheetah.

The Crater in the center of Caustic Valley is the result of a Cheetah jumping out of a Drop Ship
.
Cheetahs ALWAYS prosper.

A Cheetah truly can go "To infinity and beyond".

Optimus Prime has posters of a Cheetah on his wall.

Waldo does not hide from a Cheetah, because he knows better.

A Cheetahs lasers do not cut through your armor. Your armor spreads to allow the lasers in.

A Cheetah once used a Commando as a Stretch Armstrong toy. It is now called an Atlas.

Jump Ships do not jump through space. They are willed by a Cheetah.

PGI removed the turrets from Assault Mode because a Cheetah told them to.

A Cheetah is never late or early he is always on time. If you get there before the Cheetah, you are early. If you get there after the Cheetah, you are late.

A Cheetah is not knocking trees over in the new Maps. They are falling out of his way.

If you divide zero by itself, you get a Cheetah.

The dynamic lighting of the new maps is set to whatever the Cheetah wants.

The Ready button only works if the Cheetah allows it.

A Cheetah once fired all its lasers. The result was the Terra Therma Volcano Map

You do not miss a Cheetah when you shoot. Your weapons know better than to hit a Cheetah.

A Cheetahs engine is fueled by fear.

You are not the pilot of a Cheetah. The Cheetah is allowing you to watch it kill.

2+2 will always equal 4. Unless a Cheetahs says it is 5, then it will always be 5.

I don’t worry about single ACH since most times they sneak up behind you and you’re just dead

Two ACH's in mutual support well now I am worried

The nerf is so great on my streak wolf I can’t handle them

I don't fear it any more than other lights. I primarily Kit Fox and i don't have any extra problems with the Cheetah.
Do i want one myself? Yes i do want a Cheetah but not because i think it is uber powerfull.
It's because it has all my favorite things-
- Speed
- JJ's
- ECM
- Proper arms

I don't think it's overpowered at all.

Should be careful. The Cheetah could be hunted to extinction or forced to evolve to survive. There was once a Wild PPC Thudder. He roamed brave and free, blasting his lightning love over the faces of the masses. He was perfectly fair and balanced, just like the mighty Cheetah. He could be killed and thus was not at all op or imbalanced but was an expression of perfect beauty that inspired jealousy in others.

So the thunder was stolen from him, because people wanted real balance and broken stuff is only fun for the people exploiting it. How unfair is that?

Don't play its game; use every tool at your disposal. Don't be afraid of it and always look to shoot the legs.

I've found that fast firing lrm5's are a cheeter bane.
Of course have some back up weapons when he closes the range.
And always - always go for the legs.
I love lrmin light mechs.
So satisfying.

Go look again.

I said it was OP in CW but not that useful pug queue. Also that was before the TW/scrow got the negative quirk nerfs, so for CW I said it was reasonable.

I've always objected to high quirks - they are a band aid system. Fix the underlying issues - change hardpoint number and mech performance and rescale hitboxes for balance. Quirks should be minor and not weapon related IMO.

Long ago, the 5 houses and 4 clans lived together in harmony (sorta not really).

Everything changed when the Arctic Cheetahs attacked.
