There really needs to be some sort of penalty for people who get a 0 overall score in a match. People who drop coms or just plain hide in general. Since reporting these people never does anything and you don't have people in game as moderators. I would suggest that they owe their team 10% of their c-bills for letting them down, but heck you will probably ignore this too.

There are those with bad connections that just get disconnected suddenly. It hasn't happend to me in a long time but it does happen from time to time.
Then there are those who get oneshoted by a massive pinpoint alpha to the rear torso and such.
They could not prevent it from happening since they were unaware of the enemy behind them.
Or maybe they survived that dual gauss shot to their torso, but it removed all armor and their ammunition gets crited and blows the XL engine to bits.
They can't do anything with that either.

But matchmaker should not let you join in those instances. It should say hey this guy is a 1500 ping sorry you can't join right now. Spikes I understand, being out the whole match for 1500 ping is unacceptable.

What if a player is disconnected from a game bug and tries to reconnect? Do they get insta kicked from the round?
What about players that operate in their group as a narc/tag scout designed to sneak BEHIND enemy lines undetected?
What if an unsuspecting player is rearcored before having a chance to do any damage?

No I am talking about people who have a zero overall score, disconnected and reconnected is fine. You raise a good point about being cored before joining the group. However it does come back to team play, people should be getting on with a mike asking for help.

thats not possible, because you can not properly verifiy technical reasons vs intention.

I joined a game in a Banshee, black-screened (happens occasionally when I'm tabbed out waiting for the search), had to kill the game and rejoin, and finally reloaded and rejoined...only to have an ACH finish coring me from the back. So no, 0 scores should not be penalized.
