I'm going to be heading out of town for a week in October and am on the prowl for a machine that will do the deed for me. Someone's offered this machine in exchange for one of my 1911's and I'm considering it. I just need to know if that "intel HD graphics" thing will drive the game at all.

1) CPU Doesn't Meet Minimum Requirements, the i3-4005U is a 1.7GHz Duel Core, Minimum is a 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo (Intel) or a 2.9GHz Athlon X2 (AMD)
2) Minimum GPU is a 8800GT (Nvidia) or a HD 5600/5700 (ATI/AMD), Not sure Where the Intel HD 4400 iGPU Stacks up to those, Maybe on Par or a Little Worse

My gaming laptop (i7 3610qm, GTX 680m) runs MW:O with Intel HD 4000 at min settings and 720p around 30fps-ish. *just let me activate the GTX again*
For that kind of money you should try to get a nice price laptop from ebay.
Or you check at your local pawnbroker if there is a nice laptop.
Or you purchase a laptop online and after a week you cancel the purchase (depending on where you live; here in Germany that is not a problem), which did a friend of mine a year ago when going off for a week.

1) The rather large difference in IPC between a Core 2 Duo chip and a Haswell chip means the CPU should actually meet the minimum.
2) The 8800GT could easily be 20-30% faster than the integrated HD 4400.
I'd say OP is gonna have a rough time trying to play MWO on that. I'd like at XoticPC in that price range, might find something slightly faster. Or maybe even Newegg's open box section.

If you want to play MW0 at the natice screen resolution (1600 x 900) of this Toshiba laptop, you will be very disapointed about the low frame rate ( even with everything turnd OFF or set to LOW )
Better get yourself a Laptop with a dedicated GPU for gaming !

I'm trying to get the specific model number for this one so I can do some checking on it, but it seems more appropriate for the game:

it's a AMD APU so it would be iffy, if I had to Guess considering it's a A8 With a R5 I'd say it's a A8-7100 (1.8GHz), A8 Pro-7150B (1.9GHz), A8-6410 (2GHz), A8-7410 (2.2GHz) or a A8-7200P (2.4GHz), Even though it's AMD, at least it's a Quad Core unlike the Duel Core of the other one you listed, Would Still be integrated graphics though, When it comes to that, Apparently the Intel HD 4400 is Better than the AMD R5: http://gpu.userbench...5/m7668vsm12264
Basically, the CPU Would Meet, or be Closer to Meeting the Requirements, the GPU would be Farther Away from the Requirements Though.
Just Checked CL, if you can Get $460, I'd Highly Recommend getting This one: http://lubbock.craig...5165067585.html

I'm really not looking for stellar performance...I just want something that will let me play it reasonably while I'm out of town.

I'd Say Medium Settings with Decent Performance,Maybe some Settings on High if your lucky, the GTX 660M is around the Equivalent to a Desktop GTX 550Ti, Maybe a Bit Slower, Maybe Closer to the GTS 450, The i5-3230M is a 2.6GHz Duel Core With Hyper-Threading, With Throttlestop I'd Guess it'd be Similar to a Desktop i3-3210 if it can hit 3.2GHz. Plus the ASUS ROG Series is a Good Brand, One of the Best IIRC.
I Don't Think it's 1080P, according to Amazon for the -DS51-CA Variation, it'll be 1600x900, the 750GB HDD is a SSHD (750GB 7200RPM HDD+8GB SSD) & Won't have a Optical Drive for CD/DVDs: http://www.amazon.ca...r/dp/B00BZSCJ9Q

If you play with a resolution of at least 1280x768 or better, because of the NEW MECHLAB, this Asus ROG G46VW gaming laptop should allow framerates of 25-60 FPS.
