It was sarcasm; he liked (as he always does) his own post, which I liked because it was obviously sarcastic in tone since no-one loves ghost drops.

But to make my own personal standpoint known -: I bloody hate ghost drops.

PL dropped on Sarna at least 4 times tonight, Simitar led two victories, I led another, and the fourth was only a 6 man PL group and we got our hats handed to us. But when the ceasefire began, Liao held 53% of Sarna!
No ghost drops.

Lots of newer players joining Liao for the event so performance suffered a bit during NA prime time. Good thing to see TCAF taking Sarna during their time zone however.

Props to Liao on the win, a bit irksome that it happened due to population disparity in that timezone but that is what it is.

In the prime time timezone it was a hard fought nail biter. When ceasefire started it was 53%. There was 2 counter-attacks and a defense going. One counter attack lost in the last 5 minutes of the match; we tried to get too complex, we split up and lost momentum. The other counter-attack won. We were told how close it was and everyone was on point and pushed a win on sulfur.

The last match was a defense. The match ended on time, the attackers were ahead significantly on kills but we barely managed to stall them out on time from killing Omega.

For the prime time cycle every single match counted. 1 more win on attack or counter-attacks for Liao would have flipped it in prime time. In fact when cf hit there were 7 Liao queued up. If 5 more had joined you could have had another full match and possibly flipped it that way.

Was a lot of fun, would like to see more of this kind of thing. Would prefer they be balanced by total wins over 24 hours for special events. That prevents population disparities in any one timezone being the deciding factor. That goes both ways; no complaints on this one, TCAF does great work and the victory was well earned.

Everybody love ghost drop.

We liked it so much we had an entire team named "DEFENSE TURRET (number)" protecting Liao worlds at one point.
