I shall consider anyone running a Mauler without missile pods as nothing but heretical, as with Timber Wolves.

That shall be eliminated on the battlefield, one by one.

Yup, that's a Mauler, alright.

There was practically no way it would have looked different to the concept art because of the very specific and flat featured shape of the mech.

Fun fact: If this is the MAL-1R then all the XL-jokes so far...weren´t.
This Variant (as well as almost all others apart from the MAL-1PT5, which could be apocryphal) carry an XL 270 Engine.
They also carry CASE, which does not help with anything if you couple it with an IS-XL.

Other than that: Looks beautiful, I am hoping for quirks to strenghten those shouldershields.

EDIT: The MAL-2R ditches the XL too.

Nice, althoug these LURM-RAcks and side shields are just huge "Hit-me!" signs. But it stays true to the original Design.

haven't been looking around lately? this was released earlier for battletech this year..

OK, but one question:

Why those huge arms?

or better

when wil it be stirked by "geometry" pass and get chopped off?

why can the catapult not get his amazeballs PPC's back or the jaeger its big BOOM BOOMS, but this emch comes out of the hangar with those giant GUNS?

I am a bit confused with those 2 contradictional developments.



Can we loot those lower arms and attach them to a catapult?

The MAULER, like the Atlas, Direwolf and Anihilator, has ALWAYS been the very definition of battlefield horror..

As a Clanner, I'll be looking to dispatch that one as quickly as possible..

Where ae those screenshots of Mauler without LRMs? Or Mauler with SRMs?

Buying the mech and then having those HUGE shoulder with no tubes or 6 tubes would be ugly as hell. Will we have to wait for September 8th to find out?
