I'm happy for them but It was a balanced game. Is v Is.. IS pugs can't compete with clan mechs. When our 12 man was full I dropped in few pugs games only games we won were when we rushed the generators/gun.

Actually we (I was tagging along) ejected 36 mechs and overheated till kaboom.
For science, losing a defense mode ghost drop (the existence of which still baffles me) will actually cause you to lose a wedge on the planet.
Congratulations, Marik. 1 of the only 2 wedges you took in the last 3 hours of NA prime was actually gifted by NKVA eject buttons.

Who would get the unit tag? Would there be a unit tag on a world won with 0 victories?
Science demands answers.
Edit: And the fact that it's within the realm of possibility for a faction to intentionally throw away ownership of a planet seems .... unintentional. How easy would it be to grief the hell out of a faction this way?
Don't like Marik? Quick, everyone take Marik contracts and spam ghost drop defense losses. Reduce the purple wave to a single home world without ever fighting anyone.
Maybe this will serve as an impetus to get rid of absolutely worthless defense mode ghost drops.

This sounds like a legit use for your CW tags.
Make it happen. SCIENCE!

95 volunteers would be safer. Then everyone can lose one game and call it a night.

And as far as this event goes, there was no warning beforehand for those few of us who are still around, and it happened in the middle of the work week and lasted only a day.
So, yeah, y'all can have those empty pixels. Nobody cares about them anymore.

Have you offered to report them on the forums? I hear they really like that.

Gee, maybe that's why PGI invented a lore event to try and bribe people into playing with truckloads of c-bills.
Can you imagine how much money it would cost Comstar to pay 4 million c-bills to every single Marik pilot who dropped on Angel II? That's a lot of c-bills.
And in the case that Marik still didn't win, the event gives both Comstar and the rest of the CW population a chance at some friendly ribbing at Team Purple Parakeet's expense.
You know. The kind of ribbing that really ought to motivate people into caring just a bit.
But nooooo. Here we just have pouty faces and grouchy old birds who want us to get off their lawn but won't actually tell us to get off their lawn because they know they'll lose if they pick a fight over their lawn and that's just sad.
Defend your lawn, Marik. Defend it to the last.

they probably print new one.
and make inflation of money a real thing. On the other side with all the orbital bombardments within the IS, a lot money burnt away anyways.

I made tons more dropping on the planet. The only people making out on the 4 mil cbill deal would be the pugs playing 1 winning game then quitting.
Of course its better than nothing but i would like to see cbill per win so people working to get the planet get more of the rewards.
