So since this is supposed to be a tactical sort of game, and since we're divided into 3 lances of 4 mechs... why can't we have two different colors to identify what the other lance groups are? I mean please... simple change to the color of either Bravo or Charlie lance.
Or... here's another idea, when dropping in a group, and your group gets partially stuck in another Lance... how about being able to identify the group you dropped with somehow (dot or marker inside dorito?)
Last, it would be great if the Company commander/Lance Commander could designate targets. Perhaps even have Bitchin Betty perform an audible along with a special identifier on the HUD for priority targets.
VoIP was a nice step in the right direction, so wouldn't it be nice if we could have some more practicality for the Battle Grid map in at least identifying lances easily?
I'm sure I'm not the first that's thought this up, but I feel things like this could help with coordination and stagnant "We don't know what we're doing so lets flank right and rotate CCW" knee-jerk tactics.
