It seems like I was the only person I know who really like the Celestials aesthetic wise. They looked very sleek and had a nice theme tying them together and didn't look too "anime" to me as some people have stated. It doesn't have that "look" anymore to me than say, the Nightstar. Taking away the Jihad lore if you dislike it, although honestly I think it was retconned to be better after the fact.

Granted, I like 3145 quite a bit with Davion on the ropes, as a Davion fan it's fun to see us be the Rebels to the Empire for once.

On the same point, any mechs you love that people seem to just hate?

I love Flashman. People think its ugly but I love the SoB. Same deal with the Bombardier.

Quads. The 3025 Unseen ones are barely passable, but every one since is gawd awful IMO. Heck, even quad Battle Armor, hate hate hate.

I'd rather the whole Jihad thing stay out of MWO along with the entire "dark age" period. With some celestials having torso mounted cockpits, they wouldn't work in MWO. Then there is retractable blade weapons in a game with no melee combat.

At the rate PGI is going we'll never see it anyways, since their license will have long expired by the time we'd get into the late 3060s in game. Besides there is so much other stuff they would need to add between now and then.

I want to see the Shootist make it into the game someday.

Main reason, watching a medium pulse laser firing from a mech's crotch would be pretty epic.

Word of Blake Jihad OmniMech series. Much like the original Clan Omnis they all have very similar and shared visual design style and a love afair with retractable blades. I think their okay, as long as you ignore the fact that a number don't have real feet and would fall over at the drop of a hat.
