There are so many STEINERS, LIAOS and FREE WORLDS LEAGUE players
but 90% of them dont participate in CW.
To be honest, i think there are not more then 100 players per faction that play regulary CW.
And with that player base the situation on the inner sphere map cant
be taken seriously.
There aint enough players to encounter the attacks of the CW enthusiasts
24 hours a day (- the cease fire times).
When there woud participate 60% of the MWO player
base the map woudnt get rushed within 2 months that terra is surounded by clanners
(clear evidence that PGI coudnt imagine how their CW model gonna perform in real time)
As i heared Russ speak in the last town hall meeting it seemed to me
that he kinda resignated about CW
cause the answers to the question how to solve the many problems, but mostly the
fundament of the whole thing called ironicly community warfare coudnt be found/solved
since it´s way too early release.
I think the only thing that can help is
to implement some kind of "play button" like in pug matches
that pick matches for the player automaticly
(coud be done in the way that only battles relevant for your faction got chosen by matchmaker, i think most people woudnt mind where they attack/defend as long as they fight for their faction and bring the campaign/loyality points forward.
This way even standard maps coud be implemented.
I wrote a thread about this
http://mwomercs.com/...w-match-making/ )
I really wish that CW woud be populated so that the Inner Sphere
map coud be taken seriously in regards to faction succeses
Oh, and another link to a playlist that can fungate as a gameplay music source
(fitting for similar PC games of these days, nothing over the top)
till PGI implements a solid gameplay music layer.Just let i play in the background
while doing some drops and see what adds to the MWO experience in thermes of immersion.
