I used a CyberPower laptop for years. It still works, unlike my Alienware. CyberPower might not use the best parts, but I was pretty happy overall with it.

I've purchased a couple gaming laptops over the last 3 years due to a mobile lifestyle. I greatly prefer a desktop setup with a huge monitor, but what can you do.
Here's the thing about gaming laptops.
You have 2 choices, Mass produced or "custom". The price for performance on an Asus G74 or MSI G series is quite a bit better than the so called custom builds. I have a G73, and it's a nice machine...but doesn't travel well. I had the mobo die on me 1 1/2 years after purchase, also had to replace a power brick. It was only $160 to fix, but ASUS service is so damned slow it took almost 2 months to get back to me. If you're depending on quick turnaround they're not the company to go with. While that was being fixed I purchased a Malibal 15.6" which is a beast[only a pound less than the G73] with excellent cooling and a really nice LED screen. I got a 2 yr warranty with the thing just in case, and it happens to be user upgradable which is a plus if I'm in a location I can't RMA easily.
Most "custom" laptops are going to be Clevo shells like Malibal or MSI barebones, and you wont be dissapointed with the build quality and performance. Well, the MSI are a lot more fragile and plasticky, but I haven't heard anything particularly bad about durability. There are a few however that use other lesser manufacturers, and from my research I would avoid those. It's basically just a search to determine which company has the parts you want. I went with Malibal because they were the only ones with ATI6990M in stock, and they were able to get it to me in under 5 days.
I had a look at Cyber, This one is basically what I've got, P150 Clevo with slightly better CPU since it's 6 months later...same GPU performance etc..

I find it interesting that it's basically the same price with the CPU upgrade, warranty and upgrade options aren't terrific with Cyber, but you get a copy of win7...

Make sure you check the prices on all of the possible builds you can make with cyberpower.
I just purchased a new computer to play MWO (haven't gotten the computer yet, it's still being built) from them, and I spent about three weeks toying with various configurations. One of the first things I discovered is that, depending on what build you start with, the same configuration can have a price difference over a $100.
You start with their "black pearl" computer, and you start with their "mega special IV", and you change the specs to the same thing, and an interesting thing can happen.... one will cost more than the other, even though it's the exact same build. It's all because of how they have their special offers configured. Some machines start with a discount, and others do not... so really play out each build carefully.
Also, they offer freebies and discounts on some items, but while some of those discounts look automatic, they are not. There will be a selection you will have to click with the mouse to get the deal. Really search around each selection and look for the good prices, they are in there, but they are not obvious, and if you don't select them, then you don't get them.
Next to last... the deals that they have are not re-negotiable, and once they are gone, they are gone, so if you see some sale item you deeply think you want, then you have to buy it before it's end. Don't bother trying to talk them into letting you have yesterday's deal. The sales people don't have the chops for that.
Finally, make sure you punch in the free coupon code for the 5% off at the checkout. You can find it all over the internet, so I won't bother to try and post it here, since I'd have to look it up.
As far as price at the end, I can't complain overmuch. The same computer priced from individual parts off of newegg would have run me about two or three hundred more. The July 4 sale was a nice one.
Good luck.
