he has been trying to please the people throughout the years
and nothing is better than a developer that reaches out to his customers and fans
and finding out what they want as that's literally the best way to make money

It sounded like development is already going based on some of the information out there, they already have it funded. The kickstarter is just to get additional content aka stretch goals.

Good games usually take a-lot of time and work
they might even add a huge timeline to it with alot of possiblities from the TT game
SLDF/Amaris Civil wars ,Successionwars,Clan Invasion,Jihad.etc

you see something? all the graphics is not top notch. Because in the end it's not that important. other aspects of games are a lot more important.

also the guy on the left doesn't even looks like he is old enough to have worked on MW2 back then

It was found a while ago on an image search, and I was oddly repulsed and fascinated in equal measure. If you want them, search ebay for 'face bank'. They go for about 10$ I think. Awesome.

Well spoken, smart guy. That Battletech game sounds great. To bad about it being turn based though.

This guy is basically our George Lucas. He's made some questionable decisions over the years, including selling off his own IP to corporate behemoths that don't have its best interests at heart... and yet you really gotta love him for dreaming up this whole universe we love in the first place.

Like Lucas he then shepherded it to global multimedia success through the '80s and '90s. Well, everywhere except Japan anyway. They never liked the idea of westerners dreaming up giant humanoid war robots of their own. That's part of the reason for the irrational vindictiveness of Harmony Gold. Mech IPs are not just about money. They're about honour.

Exactly, Gameplay over graphics.....cuz if the gameplay sux, players dont play the game to see all your fancy graphics anyway.

Only thing I hate about Jordan Weissman's game, is that its only going to be started like this next year......I dont even know what it is or what its going to be about and I wants to atleast give it a go.

I currently have no doubt he will deliver a down right amazing game that anyone who likes mech games will die having played it for 28 straight days, no sleep, food, piss breaks...cuz i think it will be that good....unless IGP is t he publisher, or My.com...
