Bringing the 9SPL Partyback again to showcase it versus some modern Meta & other MechWarriors.
I'm no TheB33f, but I did spice up the video.

I find your generous application of rear armour...disturbing.

I use a 9MPL build with an XL275. It's nice 2 shotting timber wolves and head shotting every damn thing.

Rear armor is mainly for friendly fire. ^^

Makes it a lot more playable.

I'll probably have to find a build that squeezes 9 CSPL on to an Executioner.. and maybe some LRM's.. yeah, that could be cool..

Your build is an amazing brawler, but it needs JumpJets to be even better... try it in a Nova..

#Remove HBK engine caps, today!

Talking play mechanics here for the Partyback, if you want to brawl, the STD engine is good. Definitely take the speed reduction to get an entire left-side disposable shield. This isn't some cushy med-long range Metamech here with 0-1 back armor, you're working with a 121m range badass face hugging POS that expects lots of friendly fire.

And Nova 9-12 SPL
TW 9 SPL
Stormcrow 9-13 SPL
Gargoyle 9-12 SPL

Like any good MechWarrior, I had these mechs setup as soon as they came out^^
