Because it is arguably the headliner of the resistance 2 pack, and the longer it is not out for cbills the more chance of people spending $.

Not unreasonable, and it's not as though there arent 230498348151523 other mechs for people to get at this point.

The release order was changed because the modeling team needed more time to work on the Black Knight.

i don't see any logic there
if it's released as a pre-order it's already released, what does the modeling team do here

see, sexycutioner was released the earliest as a pre-order, the earliest for mc and the earliest for c-bills
meantime mauler is released the earliest as a pre-order, second last for mc and second last for c-bills

It's gonna be a long and hard wait. But hey, at least, when you get it, they will be done with "balancing" it, right?

The MC/C-Bill release order for all the packs so far has been Light->Medium->Heavy->Assault and is true for the Resistance II pack. What's different here is the initial release order is inverted due to the time to build the models.

So funny:

The income model of PGI is already very, VERY soft.
No monthly fee, no pay to win, everything is completely free in the end.
You ONLY have to pay for impatience and bragging.

Yet people will complain about every tiniest detail of money making and want it softened even further until everything in the game is free (and PGI bankrupt and therefore the game dead). That's how "everything for free"-mentality-people's minds work.
Cheers!

I simply look at it like this..

There is no "release date for MC, and $... only release date for Cbills...

All the stuff before that is "rich man's beta testing"...

I am not wealthy enough to partake..

So I'll wait, and play with what I have till then..

It's because the Wolfhound is going to be so OP it can't be paywalled for more than a couple weeks. No other explanation is possible. :P

I payed two GTA Fives for Wave III and got way less play value... Whales be whales. But if they want to actually sell more stuff they need to check the prices and monetisation. I mean the prices are aimed at middle class working people, not youth that is the future in gaming. Who student affords to put >$80 to a game that doesn't even provide much content for the money?

I'm not putting pgi down or the game down... just facts. It's a fun game but the grind especially for clan mechs is too much, you need to put in the cash unless you're devoted player. And the amount of cash is not small by any means...

and yet people, students, and kids manage to get a $200 Playstation 4 with a $60 Grand theft Auto game as well as use electricity to play.
Most hobbies cost money to play, even golf.

What's $10-20 in mechwarrior compared to that?
Compared to buying tires for off-roading.
Compared to buying a $100+ remote control buggy to race
Compared to $70 in oil paints etc.

You simplify things. A friend of mine who I played MWO with had to save money for couple of months for that GTA V. Another IRL friend doesn't have the money to get P4 and won't have cus his parents are poor and he actually has to pay rent and eat and stuff like that, you know, living. He can't spend tires for offroading and can't even afford to rent an offroad. I don't know your social class but that sounds like suburbia daddy buys stuff.

Majority of students don't ask money from their parents to get mechs in MWO. They ask it for living. And it's not 10-20 dollars. It's $55 for Timber Wolf in a la carte.
