I cannot believe I have been playing MWO for this many years and have not come across this thread before. You guys got my FPS from a sketchy 17 to 40 to a steady 50 to 60 the whole match with just the Razer tool. You have no Idea what this means to me. Thank you for your hard work and deep dive on this topic.

I'm glad it helped. This thread was moved a few times, and eventually it ended up in "guides and strategies" for some reason. But Tina Benoit personally helped me move it here where it belongs (thank you Tina!); sorry it eluded you for so long.

Just wanted to add one more thing to troubleshooting checklist. It will help people who have CPU bottleneck issues (especially laptop users), it will not give you any gains in the GPU.

Windows Game Mode. You can enable it though the control panel or windows settings > Gaming > Game bar. Make sure game bar is enabled. If the silly gizmo has trouble being turned on, or keeps flipping itself off, try this. FIX

When you start Mechwarrior Online, you will stop at the login screen and press alt+enter to bring the game into windowed mode.(reason: you can only start windows game bar with games in windowed mode). After a few seconds the game bar will pop up. and there will be a button you can press that's called "game mode". After you have selected it, you can return the game to full screen with Alt+Enter.
