Mining colony, it grants a place for every mech. No matter if sniper, JJ's or not, or brawlers or skirmisher. The mapsize is sufficient and not inflated. And it allows a lot movement and flankings. Lrm's are probably not the best friends with the maps, yet lrm's help surpressig on this map a lot as well.

Caustic Valley is still the best.
Some may hate it for NASCAR but in reality its full of possibilities because ist has no chokepoints.
You can go left, right or even right through the middle of the Caldera.

The most dissapointing map is Crimson Strait. Everybody gets funneled to the two layered harbour because there is no other valid option. Instead of cool city fights you get lame harbour fights. And this location is super boring.

And the worst design is undoubtly Viridian Bog. Too few options to proceed against the Enemy and too much places where you just get stuck. I accept if my mech gets stopped by Steel Beams, buildings and similiar objects. But being stopped by stupid roots is just dumb. All the organic environment o this map should be destroyable.
