Hey I tried searching "free mech bays" to find out but the search returns every single individual post and all the topics had to do with changing how free mech bays are handled.

I just want to know how many free mech bays do I get from playing for one faction? I'm a member of Ghost Bear and I've gotten 2 mech bays so far. Do I get more than 2 if I play more? If so, does it take a lot longer to get the 3rd? Does it make sense to change faction, play for 2 mech bays and then switch factions to play for another 2? Just trying to figure this out please thanks.

I found an old one here:
https://static.mwome...ks_Rewards2.pdf
I am not sure if it is still accurate but it shows 5 Mechbays available for each faction, so 50 total if you play all 10 factions.
It looks like for all factions you get free Mechbays at the following numbers of loyalty points
1,600
24,000
110,000
240,000
520,000

the lvl 2 loyalty is easy to get, you can do it in a part of your evening if you get drops
lvl 6 on the other hand will need a whole week of pretty active play
then it will need even more time

so if you want free mechbays fast you make a 7 days contract and immediately break it, it will cost 150000 c-ills and will save you 4 days of time, while the remaining 3 days expire you get the lvl 2 mechbay, then you repeat with the next faction

when you made the whole round you may join a unit and possibly become a loyalist to earn further rewards

if you don't want mechbays that fast, you may simply wait till 7 days expire and make the whole round twice as slower

Ok I found the achievements screen, I got rank 2 for Ghost Bear with a permanent contract, I'll proably break it to get some more bays faster, need 4 more so I can work for elite Stormcrow and Kitfox

Hey one more question, do you get CW games faster if you join a faction that is more popular? Like is the pairing always one faction vs one other? Or are they mixed?

If by popular you mean populated, then yes.

Back in my Jade Falcon day, getting matches was as simple as breathing. Same goes for Wolf atm. While I like the Smoke Jags too, getting matches on their border proved difficult (have to admit that this Resistance and Server Event and its plethora of extensions did cut down the numbersof players, Kuritan and Jags.
For the IS I cannot make any predictions. Since Wave I I am a Clanner. FRR could be good right now.

Regarding the MechBays: Go for the third MechBay as well, since you get 500 MC along with it. When you play with a populated faction, you should be there soonTM.

Ah crap well I was thinking about keeping Ghost Bear but decided it would be quicker hopping to different factions. Also now I'm not sure if I should get 2 more different clan mechs for the drop deck or get more Stormcrow and Kitfox to get elite. Can I have more than 1 of the same chassis in the deck, like 2 Stormcrows etc?

Yes you can. You can even have these mechs be the exact same variant, though you'd need to buy them seperately. So say you want to run 3 Stormcrow Primes you'd need that CT 3 times, which necessitates you buying that mech three times.

The most efficient way to get mech bays from CW is to play each faction to level six for two bays. It's logarithmic scale (ish), so level gains slow down significantly. 2&6 are pretty quick, 10, 14 and 18...less so.
