Geeee.... Yeah why don't they put out those Clan Heros for Sale..... Or wait There aren't any !!
He already announced a Timby Hero and the Bounty Hunter so, just wait for those when it is released...

Now i wonder if i should take advantage of this to get more mech bays (i still have 15 spare) and hero mechs...

It's slanted because of a few reasons.
1) mainly IS mechs are around 3050, and there are more locusts in the IS then there are all mechs in the clan space (this includes the SLDF mechs, IIC's, out dated ones like woodsman, etc)
This is reflected well in game beyond the fact there wasn't that much mech in the invasion but also the fact the IS have been in MW: O for 2 years while clans barely 1.
2) IS have many variants for the mechs they got, some mechs got 10+ variants that fit in timeline. Just look at the locust.
now lets look at the clans... Shadowcat? 2 +1 PGI variant. so no more options for this guy
Hellbringer? 3, so no more hellbringers
Direwolf? we depleted in them now after the S and W.
Kitfox? we only got the A left, which can be replicated on the ones already (1 gauss , 2 er mediums).
Adder? nothing left.
Ice ferret? nothing left.
etc... it's depleted! We only got 1 mech left in the original invasion- the Viper. and it is not that good sadly. It got everything bad about the nova and kitfox with the only advantage of the ice ferret but not as strong. It can be interesting but it isn't like a cicada 3F level of cool or the Centurion AH.
3) Omnimechs kill variety. the devs kind of neglected the fact that the 12E arm on the nova is different to a 1E arm.
There is nothing making you want to run a 100% set omnipods for a nova prime instead of making it the same as the Nova S like you did for the other 3 novas. I suggested earlier that there should be much stronger quirks for a clan mech but have a good chunk of it as a omnipod set bonus. This is a way to make a Timberwolf D a very good ER PPC mech without being OP and without a timberwolf A side torso making it a thunderbolt 9S all over again.
Due to the fact there is no way to keep stock omnipods omnimechs do not really matter in MW: O besides extra parts to play with. Sure the new nova is cool because it adds a M arm. But no one will use the stock omnipods for that mech, even though it's unique and may be cool, people would rather (if they want the arm) have the M side torso and a few more lasers to have something like 6 ER small and 2 LRM 15's.
So when you release a special premium nova= no one will care about it for what it is, they just look at it as "welp, time to strip my nova D build and put it all on this thing for the bonus!"
I am really happy that 2 out of the 5 mechs here are clan.
BUt I wish PGI really works hard into a omnipod set bonus. It will prevent OP comboes by matcihng up the perfect omnipods while supporting stock omnipods. This can also work on hero mechs and be a reason to get a hero. (as well as say hero mechs omnipods can not be placed on normal clan mechs)

...You know, out of all the games I've played, MWO has the best and most frequent sales. Kudos to PGI for that!
