The Clan ones are mediocre...Nova that gives a 1M right arm and Exe that gives a 1B right arm. They're pretty forgettable, really.

The IS ones are at least unique (adds JJs or MASC), although still not necessarily that great.

Which is fine, really. Neither the Execute or the Nova have CT hardpoints anyway, so it doesn't matter.

A nova with a RT missile point would of been nice.

While yes the unique nova looks nice, it's doesn't really bring anything new to the mech itself.

Well, if you use the Nova C's LT with this new Nova D's RA, you can now have TWO entire missile weapons on your Nova! *Gasp*

Because the Nova's base chassis is totally geared towards missile boating...

I just remembered the Summoner-M, Nicolai Malthus's variant...why the heck didn't they give us that one as a Clan loyalty reward? It's already in the game files, has been since Clan launch. That would have been far more special and had more of a game impact than the NVA and EXE variants. They also skipped over this variant during both Clan reinforcement waves...it's pretty obvious that they want Malthus for a hero mech.

So the IS get some fairly awesome mechs, with ok hard points, but the clan loyalty mechs are things that have been passed over by every dezgra warrior, and solahma unit between Terra, and Strana Mechty?

What do you do as a follow up PGI, come over while i'm at work, drink all my booze, and $#!+ in my sink?

Yes, because the Clanners get no love at all in this game. That's why nearly everyone has one and they outperform the quirked-up IS on a regular basis.

I'm not super excited for the Loyalty Clan Mechs either, especially since one is a Nova (I love the Novas but they still have oversized monkey arms), but Clan Mechs are also super expensive. This is the equivalent of PGI giving us some of that super-expensive monkey poop coffee, or a coaster made out of dinosaur bone. We would never buy it ourselves, but it's still a rather lavish gift.

And yes, the stock hardpoints are pretty meh, but that's Clan Tech for ya. Prepare to drag and drop those Omnis!

At least the gift mechs were not meta. Otherwise, there will be outcries of P2W.
