Urban mech bundle does not qualify for top tier, on account of being 40 dollars only. While a top tier IS pack is 80, and a top tier clan pack is 90

Hey, there was feedback, and PGI listened and opened up the Zeus reward to owners of the Collectors edition Urbie and Marauder (Henceforth nicknamed "Maude" by myself, I'm calling it).

I updated the OP.

Regular "Play Now" matches let you play as anything. You can also own anything.
"Community Warfare" matches will force you to use only Clan mechs (it also takes a while to get a CW match going anyway; so best to use regular matches to get the 100 matches in).

As for how to buy a mech with cbills...to be honest I don't know anymore because my favorite method is now gone. Gimme a min to finish this match and I'll look into it (I think through the store though and choose "Cbills" as the payment method).

Alright, well since I see you reaching out for help...

Here ya go:

Store.
Battlemechs.
Open the various little overly complicated tabs and click on an icon. If you hold the mouse over it you'll also get this display.

Click "Buy." If you have the funds, it will bring up what to buy with.
Decide between MC (My honest opinion never use to buy a mech except for hero mechs) and cbills and then hit OK. It'll ask you to confirm. Then the deal is sealed.

You go to the store tab, and then browse the Battlemechs you want. Then when you go to pay it will ask whether to use MC or Cbills. You have to buy Hero and Champion mechs with MC, but everything else is available for CBills at some point. Some of the newly released mechs won't be purchaseable for Cbills until a later date as well, but they will open up eventually.

I would highly suggest you play with the Trial mechs for a bit longer until you decide what you want to buy, and then get 3 of the same type of mech. Buy 3 variants for the same chassis, and that way you can start working up the skill tree for that chassis. You can still play the trials for variety.

As far as MC purchases go, mechbays are my favorite thing. After that the Mastery bundles are a great deal, as everything in it is 50% off the regular price. There are also sales periodically for pretty much everything in the game.

Anyone else excited for the cicada? I've always liked the humming sounds when spectating. Is it soothing? Do you want to fall asleep while piloting one?

I wonder if the new loyalty mechs will be as good as the last round. The CN9-AH and AS7-S are considered by many to be BIC (Best in Chassis, did I just invent that too?).

Just a reminder for new players that may have started in the last week or so to get up to 100 matches played for sweet rewards!
