well...I just spent 6.95..... realized I hadn't done it all year, lol. But mostly because I have some mechs that need new camo and paint with them unlocking stuff.

Yea, its cheap enough for sure, and I'm sure I could use the MC for something, but I'm just not sure I want a Cicada. Awesome mediums, but just...so...ugly (inside and out).

I just have some thinking to do.

Is it odd that I love how they look in MWO? And....well, JJs. Not in love with the hardpoints, because I don't vomit, but then again, big engine fast medium tends to be tonnage strapped anyhow. Still with JJs it might be the first CDC I actually do well in, hopefully.

I love how enemies turn to look at me, go "oh, it's just a Cicada," then turn to shoot at something else leaving me to core out their rear armor.

SRSLY. This happens at least once a day in both my brand new X-5 and brand new 3M.

So far I've only needed 10 matches to get Elite on the 3M. (Or rather, to get the XPs for full Elite. I have to wait for the 3F to drop to actually unlock the skills.) I'm averaging a little over 4k XPs per match in that thing.

X-5 hasn't been as good... it's taken twice as many missions to get to the same point. I just haven't found a build that I really like other than simply replicating the 4 x MPL that I've been using on the 3M, and that seems less useful without the ECM to close the distance. I've been using 1 LL and 3 ML. It's okay, I guess.

I've always found a well run CDC a tough kill..... (BJs, too, actually) but I never have been able to run them well, which as a Medium guy I admit with great chagrin. My only excuse being that CDCs are really just overweight Locusts......

Well, you can either get the smallest MC pack, for some camo, and colors, or wait until it comes out for C-Bills in December/January (I'm guessing here), and get it for C-Bills then.
