Securing a border is always preferable to fighting on all fronts. Whos for securing the Marik border with an alliance? That'd free us upto kick the Fedcom in the nuts right off the bat. Magistracy looks way too independent as well.

If they do enter into an alliance with the Free Worlds League do they get to engage in their civil wars?

Oh its no secret. FedCom has a giant target on its collective crotch. We have to get through you lot to get to the Clan front, and have less than a year. I say we'll do it in half that time but i'm optimistic.

With a name like that you sound as if your some Kuritan fifth column burrowing deep into Marik's posterior.

The Draconis- Free Wold League- Confederation allience is still in force and will continue for some time. The FWL was not happy that the CC was included, but events were such as to make it so. "Keep your friends close, your emenies closer and your emenies who are now your "friends" even closer."

How exactly are you planning on implementing this alliance?

Not to rain on your parade here, but i don't think you'll be able to talk all of the countless players who join on release day (or shortly after) without ever having once visited the house forums into abiding by some alliance they had no part in making.

Until we see some game play footage of what the interstellar part of the game is going to be like, any talks of grand strategy are premature.

Well, it's in effect at this point and no Liao can attack any FWL, or DC soldier in the game, simple as that. ;)

We only hire mercenaries to conquer some planets from FWL for us, but no loyal Capellan soldier can attack them.
