Agreed, instead the D got those structure bonuses (which don't protect the ballistic) and the D-DC got the shaft.

very debatable if the ecm is that much worth in quirks.

Agreed.

Want to see a really funny one, go look at the Cataphracts, the -3D is apparently still on Pauls hit list.

Yeah that one I can't figure out. Along with the Jenner D, though I think the latter is a mistake.

That is because at the higher end very little poking happens, all of the poking is pot shots taken early, after that you close and crush (or be crushed) whoever keeps it together wins. This is the exact style you see from the better 12 mans in the group queue and in CW with the relentless press that makes puggies cry about getting spawn camped.

Small correction, when it's a better 12-man versus another better 12-man then there is a lot of time spent in the ranged trading phase with a lot of positional movement around the map and Lights trying to add pressure to force movement and turn mechs and etc. It's once one team senses an advantage over the other or when things are desperate that they attempt to push. Sort of like ancient warfare actually when you think about it.

It just so happens that when crushing small groups of pugs in group queue, that sense of advantage is at the start so they/we sort of just push aggressively and finish it ASAP.

As Russ has stated in the townhall, the weapon balance is something that can be considered after this overall 'Mech balance update is released.

After...? That's exactly what we should all be concerned about.

If they release anything approximating these Mech tweaks, before addressing weapon balance or Clan vs IS balance, we will have to endure months of uncompetitive IS Mechs while they gather data to later "consider" weapon balance.

This from the guys who still can't be arsed fixing Flamers, which have been broken forever, and AC2s.

If they release this new system, without also addressing weapon balance or Clan vs IS balance, I'm done with this game.

Small question? Why do 100 ton command assault mechs have such a huge target delay. This makes no sense.

That's probably what the Command Console is for?

This mean +1 alpha from dire wolf on gauss and ppc. Yeah, this will make this game sooooo much longer

Well if you consider these buffs on multiple mechs + players actually use skill and torso twist to spread damage rather than just stand there like a hulking target, then chances are yes, yes it can make the games last longer..
