Stock load out and larger engine cap then the others point to peek sniper.
A lot of people ran dual PPC builds on this guy and it seam to work well.

Positive Accel and Decel tends to support peeking.
Extra arm structure works for protecting main weapons.

The +3 Retention is interesting, I guess it is a bonus, but when peek sniping it won't mean much.
I think it would suit the ST.Ives better with the two missile slots.

Personally, when playing a jump sniper, I prefer knowing where a target is before poking up from behind cover. To me, this would be very helpful in that role since weapons would recycle before, or right before, I lose their radar sig. Which means when I pop up a second time, I don't waste time reacquiring my target, I know where to look, and can pre-aim, all very helpful for my accuracy.

The reason ppc and erppc (share quirks from what I can tell) get uesd so often on this mech is because it has a 40% ppc velocity quirk. A 2nd variant has 40% as well and the 3rd has a 25% boost.
