I am posting this here for now for the Warhawk B but this applies to ALL LRM dedicated boats IS and Clan. Any mech with a + bonus to Target Retention Time should have it's targeting range restored to 700 meters at least so with BAP/CAP and Advanced sensor range you can at least lock to 1000 Meters and fire to the range of your LRM weaponry.

As it stands the 500 meter range for all mechs Heavy and higher is setting up a HUGE imbalance when is comes to facing an LRM adder with 800 meter base targeting range with CAP will be 1000+ meters.

The Adder will be able to Easily lock and Destroy any heavy or assault LRM mech while the heavy or assault LRM mechs will not even be able to fire back. Current heavy and assault with base range of 500 meters +BAP/CAP and Advanced sensor range Only reaches 750 meters Maximum.

A light Adder doing just a little mech wiggle will be able to dodge ALL incoming straight fire LRM's (fired without a lock) and getting closer to the offending light speedy Adder is Not an option.

So light mech being able to do unlimited damage with impunity on it's equivalent weapon type heavy and assault counterparts is a clear imbalance in the making if left unchanged.

LRM Adder... now thats a funny idea. Given how weak LRMs are - and Adder is too - it will be funny to watch.

It's actually the only viable Light LRM 'Mech currently because of its podspace and high mounted TAG:

Forces the other mechs with longer sensor range to find the targets for you is all. Although it hurts your "choice" of targets, it shouldn't be all that devastating. Makes more proper use of lights as scouts imo.

You do realize that the Warhawk is NOT a dedicated LRM boat, right?
Just because you can cram 4 x LRM-15 in it in the current system (making it "effectively" an LRM boat) does not make it a "dedicated" LRM boat.

The Warhawk is a dedicated "Large energy weapons boat" or maybe a "Heat sink boat" and should get quirked accordingly (positive AND negative quirks, e.g. negative ones to missiles).

Dedicated Clan LRM Mechs, if such a notion exists at all, would be primarily the Mad Dog. Maybe Ebon Jaguar, Storm Crow, Adder, as well.
MAYBE even Timber Wolf, but it's more like an iconic "jack of all trades" uber-mech, not really "dedicated" on the missile part.

How can someone create a "dedicated LRM boat" feedback thread in a Warhawk context ... seriously.
