Those that are testing do they find the mechs in general surviving longer ? Are the battles more drawn out and sustained than before ? I've spoke of this desire in the past. I'm hoping this new rebalance will allow for longer battles and not this flashy fast stuff we have now. I can't participate at the moment so any opinions welcomed. Thanks

You definitely do not die fast now. You survive almost anything and every match turns into a massive brawl, because that's the only way to do enough damage.
So if you expect "a thinking man's shooter", which is supposed to be, with long drawn out matches and lots of tactics, this is not it. It's extremely tanky mechs slugging it out without any strategy whatsoever.

more TTK is because weapon Quirks and Structure buffs of this new PTS,
ive seem much more Tactics even though theirs more Brawling ive had amazing games,
several games ive played we had to flank to win or got flanked and lost,
it takes so much more damage to take you down, its amazing,

the ttk is a lie, the TBR metavomit haven't chanegd at all, so ttk is basiclly the same given you play vs the same competent metacrowd. Howver vs IS matches may go longer, more HP quirks, less firepower on them, so is vs IS will have a significant increase. But clan vs clan will feel the same.

Clan vs. Clan is the same as before. IS vs. IS is longer. Clan vs. IS are the Clans requiring one more alpha to kill, but also not really being threatened by the IS anymore.

Just FYI, you guys who think there are more thought and tactics involved in a long drawn out brawl slugfest are lying to yourselves. That is the most brainless part of this game. The fact that this is turning into "ball up and zerg them" game is deeply upsetting. There is no thought or tactics, just brute force.
Low TTK punishes you for NOT thinking ahead, and playing carefully. The fact that people say the opposite, that being able to make mistake after mistake without getting severely punished shows how many make judgments based on feelings instead of logic. People rage when they get killed quickly, but it is always because they weren't thinking about what they were doing or made a mistake.

So weapons quirks are coming next or we are set up like this?
If it is like this, asymmetrical number adjust would be needed.
If you guys want low TTK, go play CS, seriously.
I bet that with higher TTK, there are less stomps. As was the case just before quirks and dumping down TTK to the ground.

I don't want low TTK. In most situations we don't have low TTK now, its when someone messes up they die quickly. You think you should stop in front of a Dire Wolf 200m away in a Kit Fox and not die in a couple seconds?

This is great news to me that the battles are longer and brawling is back. Anyone who desires this overblown fast kill nonsense and thinks THIS is tactics is suffering from withdrawal from fast kill syndrome. More thought and tactics go into just the opposite imo. Also the longer battles are much more satisfying ,nerve wracking and exciting. Remember Mech 2 ?? There you have it. The best mech gameplay ever. Besides the game will be more appealing to the new people as well. Making it easier to adjust to the gameplay.

The game is already snoozeville when you have pokey mechs piloted by non-aggressive players.
Things like the meta DRG-1N and TDR-5SS that wo;; brutalize you if they get in position are required.
Catering to players who get fouces fired by bad positioning and complain about TTK is not any way to balance the game.
