Lets Put The Perks In The Engines

Just tossing this out there to see how well it holds to incoming flak.

What if we put the quirks in the engines.

say for example to, just to keep this quick .

a std 100 gets - heat quirks
+structure quirks for ct & st
+armor quirks also for ct & st (because your using 100 std engine for freaking sake)
+accell
+twist




and to compare


a std 300 gets +structure quirks




the thinking goes that the slower the engine the more quirks it receive in a effort to increase survivability on the field.

also to a attempt to slow the game down by giving players a reason to bring slower mechs on the field.

it also has the added bonus of increasing light mech durability when using slower engines.

i think its a preety good idea.
