Since the patch I've had crazy lag spikes in every match. It's only happening in MWO but I haven't seen any others report it so maybe I'm just special. With only the game running I usually sit at 100-110 ping being on east coast. Frequently and randomly I will spike up to 800+ then it will drop back down and just repeat every few seconds. Myself and others teleport short distances as the game attempts to compensate when it catches up. I've had it go as high as 2k but it doesn't really matter since anything above 200 is unplayable. It doesn't matter the map or mech and has been happening since the 9/8 patch. If it was a constant ping I could attempt to adjust fire knowing how far ahead or behind a mech I need to shoot but it's so sporadic that leading them when it's high ping turns into me just shooting way ahead of them when ping settles back down every few seconds. Basically I can't play unless I want to handicap my team and I was looking forward to double xp this weekend.
