i didn't see the townhall, but if these mechs and IICs are both on the table, why not make the next step?

If they make money selling the IS ones, the IIC will not be far behind.

Don't forget that you need at least 3 variants. Sure, PGI can make them up, but they tend to not do that if they can help it.
