Perfectly describes the CW match-score system, where the easiest way to get the required score is to just deal a little bit of damage, get a kill or 2 and hide for the rest of the match to not lose a single mech.
Whoever came up with the new CW match-score system is an absolute moron.

What annoys me is when you get 4 kills most damage done and barely break 300 score, because you did pinpoint damage like you were supposed to. Yet the guy sitting in the back lobbing LRMS for 700 damage on 10 mechs with no kills gets a 550 match score.
I finally relented and started bringing my KTO18 so that I could damage sponge some assaults all match, no matter that my actual contribution towards winning the match went down hill.

Sadly with completing just the maps you have done I bet your near or in the top 100 on the leader board. I was at 96 last night and I still had a map to go. I finally got the map i needed and finished 85th, Just a guess but I would say out of the 20k active players this weekend only a hundred or so completed the CW event.
