I wonder why noone has posted about this. Someone is making a live action MechWarrior movie.

Eh cringey, questionable, and really easy to riff on. Methhead Von Jager Steiner left of hackerman 8 secs in. OH YEEEAAA! Also for "Bandits" they are sure damn well packing with a timby. :/ Disabled comments and ratings no bueno.

I had really high hopes after they said they will improve the trailerwork, but seeing that they are working on this since 2012 and still re-shoots and additional stuff is planned, makes my hopes sink.

I was gonna play Devil's Advocate and say that the old MechWarrior cut scenes weren't all that impressive, then I rewatched this


and now I'm scrambling to find the folder for my MW4 download

And a bad one at that. Yeah I know, it's easy to talk something down, but sometimes you just should realize that what you are doing ... sucks.
Fan projects don't have to be bad, there are some homemade Star Wars movies out there of surprisingly good quality (not even talking about Tydirium - is that even out yet?) with virtually no budget. You just have to find the right people with the right skills.
But what I have seen of that trailer, they are doing everything wrong that you can do wrong. Bad acting, bad props, bad dialogue - heck, they even have a lance of 5 mechs!

Video is spectacular, but man, the armor on those medium mechs is like wet tissue paper.
