Did... did you expect them to give it away for free or something? This is the first time i've looked at a mech sale and thought it was something approaching a reasonable price.

I'm SHOCKED they didn't have it as the 4th mech in a new Project Phoenix lance with a Stinger, Phoenix Hawk, and Archer. And if you wanted the Marauder you would either have to pay $35 a la carte or $80 for the package.

It didn't sound like they actually got the rights to it at all, just making their own "design" and calling it the same name. If that is the case, I guess only time will tell how it plays out in court because HG is sure to sue.

And at the same time it wouldn't be all that surprising if they actually got the rights through whatever dealings, and the whole re-design line is Russ trying to get some street-cred (or mech-cred I guess?) with the players - basically trying to leverage it into some amount of goodwill.

But seriously its priced the same if not lower than most of the non "unseen" mechs so whats the damn problem? They already said in the FAQ that it will be available for C-Bills so its not even a pay to win thing.

PGI is not being greedy its a good idea to introduce unseen mechs because yes people will buy them for that reason alone.

PGI has rights to the name, they just have to make the Marauder look different enough to prove it's their design.
