So I was wondering after the test of the information warfare quirks.

Is there a list anywhere of all the possible aspects of a mech that can be quirked or can be changed by another mechanic (modules or skills) already in the game (things clearly not hard coded into the mech or equipment)?

i.e. lock on time, radar range etc.

Then does anyone have an suggestions on creating a skill tree for each mech and the pilot based on aspects that we know the devs can relatively easily adjust?

Because I was thinking the devs are going for a complete rebalance and the skill "tree" is terrible. I am also under the impression that the dev team is small and already working hard on other matters. Plus this community loves to come up with ideas.

So if we know what might be played with could we do the concept etc.

We've got several of these ideas floating around, you just need to get past the first page or so of ZOMG MARAUDER and ZOMG MY C-BILLS ARE NERFED threads.

It would be nice if they actually made the effort to really think through and process the re-balance so they don't have to do it again in 3 months when they decide to actually change the skill tree, we can hope they'll just open some discussion up (a real zomg) or just read some of their forum and work out some of the ideas that are out there that would make balance going forward much easier as well as a more interesting skill tree for the players.

LOL! And when a "Consensus" is reached on the Forums, as to which would be the BEST idea of the bunch, thus avoiding the inevitable "Not what I wanted, so now I got my Panties in a Bunch Crowd", then PGI could use that one. LOL! OMG! Good luck with that...

How quickly is forgotten the 3PV debacle and the gross amount of "good will" the Forums pissed away with that one... ;)

Well, the devs can take the time to make proper Skill Trees,

or allow for a modular one, where the Player would basically slot in modules for their stable of mechs.
