Can one of you bright guys describe Force Multiplication as it applies to MWO?
Examples:
Why a lone mech is a target of opportunity?
Why an assualt melts in front of multiple opposing mechs?
How you get everyone to target the same mech and WHY?

More to the point is firing lines. Force multiplication only needs 3 or at most 4 mechs, that's enough to kill one target and you can easily do it on the move.
You call targets in voip. If you're in cw on attack you can do this on the fly on a "biggest to smallest, first seen first served" basis.
A lone mech has no support and 4 mechs can safely expose themselves to just his fire, killing him before he does much on return. If you're among several mechs they would be exposed to massed counter-attack and melted in turn.

The one thing I see often is the enemy team sets up to shoot through an opening between 2 ridges/buildings. On a pug someone will always walk into it and you cannot rescue someone in the firing line without getting wrecked yourself.
For some reason I am never on a team that can set an ambush....
