Total Best Match Score 2700 = T1 prize

Total Best Match Score 3600 = T2 prize

Removes the frustration of chasing specific maps.

Any match can help by raising best total score.

Edit: changed totals to reflect 9 maps, not 10

Hm. Likewise here. The only one I have a zero on.

Multiplying by the amount of maps with the score would be more reasonable (Example: 400x9 -> 3600 points requirement). I mean even the last box says that but they made it work as a "all maps completed box" which doesn't fit the description.

This would help those who are literally never getting a map from the list.

I like the OP's suggestion. More events that award team play rather than individual performance.

Great suggestion to mod the requirement to 2700 (T1) and 3600 (T2) for the best 9 scores.

The problem of not getting a certain map goes away.

Really they just need to stop penalizing you for losing mechs. That's the only part that's keeping me from finishing.

I like the 9X400=3600 idea also. Would help with the frustration of trying to get one single map. I expect half the teams will be disco'd by monday evening, as they try to get that last map done.

I spent 8 hours playing MWO yesterday. I got River City twice. First time I didn't even know about the event.

And now I sort of wish I never knew about it. Really bad event.

A combination of having terribad mechs left to level (my choice i guess, but they all seem to have paper mache for armour and pea shooters for weapons all of a sudden), having terribad teams all weekend (so much for PSR), the knowledge that there is a lot of cheating going on, and pretty much never getting some of the maps to pop have pretty much resulted in me not giving a **** about this non-"event".

Great idea OP.

You can't have an event where a lot of games don't count or you will see some very bad behavior from players. So many disconnects, afk's and suicides it really gets frustrating.

The fact that 90% of the games I've played don't matter at all I've pretty much given up. The thing is, I think the points required is actually about right. Combined with the RNG factor though it becomes an exercise in frustration.

OP suggest = simple, easy, functional.

I agree on this, this event is so random. They can change the numbers but I think this is way to go.

I think they should keep it like it is, to be challenging, and only reward people who play enough to win.

Yeah, i really like to see the faces of the people when they hit their last map, the game starts and 4 of their teammates suicide into the enemy because they already have the map :P

Yup I think this would be great. Maybe they could do the same for CW too (so like 1200 tier 1 and 1800 tier 2), with maybe a requirement across both to 'participate' in a match on every map (so 150 points in general and 100 points in CW on each map + a requirement on the total score)
