Jonathan Paine is still the leader of OLD for the FRR

Look him up in members and shoot him a PM

I used to be in the unit but I left when I hit rank 20 and the ability to drop consistently in CW waned after the battle of Tukayid.

I am with MS now. Say what you will about my current unit. I have heard it all but there are MANY good players and we DO drop in CW nearly every night with 12 mans

OK I,m guess I,m just old could you explain what that means?? Look him up in members? how do I pm sombody in the forum?

and yes my son is grown and out of the house so i can,t ask him anymore.

Here you go, Psyconic. ---》http://mwomercs.com/forums/topic/192274-old-dragon-battlegroup/

This links to the group you are interested in and when you are in that thread AND LOGGED IN to the website, click on Johnathan Paine 's name at the beginning of his posts. Should link to his profile where there will be an option to friend him on the forums, Personal Message him, or just plain reply in the thread that you are interested in the OLD dragons. They may have other contact info in thread as well.

OLD -- Old Dragon battle group. Grumpy as can be and not much for complainin' about anything except for the stupid kids who walk on their lawns.

--edit---

They are always a good group to hang with (when they've managed to take their geritol)

True story, I'm one of the youngest, discounting a few member's children, @ 34 - we are the fun kind of grumpy and you will likely hear more talk about life, family or random history than anyone's game performance. We get down to business during matches but there's still a pile of chatter about someone's bird chattering in the background or Antz eating what sounds like a bag of chips still in the bag.

Good fun and a lot of laughs to be had. Shoot off a message to Amsro, Jonathan Paine, or myself. If I can't yet get you added and these guys don't reply right off, I will find someone who can.

I also added you to my list. Accept it and catch me online an I'll get you in touch with the right people if I can't get my rank upgraded before then.

I've heard my share of 30-somethings, 40-somethings, and even 50-somethings act like selfish whiny 12-year-olds in my time on MWO. I've heard some guy chew someone out for making a decision they didn't agree with (Read: playing the game wrong) and then threatening to beat them up IRL.

Age only offers a slightly reduced chance of acting like a dee-bag.

Ya, sometimes old is confused for mature :) the OLDs are pretty mature except for sycocys -- still wet behind the ears.

I'm 33, but I can't stand dealing with the (25 and under?) kids that don't have jobs or responsibilities. It'd be much nicer to deal with people who truly enjoy the game, but actually have lives and responsibilities. You create a group, I'll join you in a heartbeat...after I replace the computer that my 4 year old dumped a jug of apple juice on/in. XP
