I just noticed that Alpine Peaks, Frozen City and Terra Therma are not in the event listing, now I have no personal good feelings towards any of the maps, but for this event these are now the rarest maps you can get on.
Also why are Tourmaline and Forest Colony so common, Why isn't the matchmaker supporting the maps we need, why is the Mining Collective so impossible to get on! PGI why have you done this!

Map drops are random, but equally weighted. Alpine, Frozen, and Terra are all out of the rotation entirely and are not part of the event.

They aren't rare. They are non-existent. Those that are in the rotation are equally weighted. If you see one or more of them more often than the others it's just bad luck. Perhaps a prayer to the RNG gods is in order.
