That would be the most logical explanation at least.

Unfortunately this is not the remedy to the case at hand. I am quite the boisterous speaker using a communications headset, the issue appears to be a ghost in the shell situation. I would have thought the headset faulty by now had it not functioned flawlessly in every other conversation on any other VOIP program.
