With that fix in place OPster would qualify for T2.

Part of the frustration is that 8 maps (89% of effort) give 0% of the rewards while the last map then pays out 100% of the rewards.

I personally think PGI is doing a great job overall, but this event may need some PR damage control.

Implementing the fix, extending the event, and say doubling the rewards, could win back some lost goodwill.

Without a gesture like that, my sense is that the event has actually harmed MWO rather than promoted it (soured people out of sheer frustration).

canyon, i had that map 10x during last evening. The map is clear, open. one of the most easiest.

I didn't even know about this challenge. Just checked mine and I've already completed tier 1 and only need HPG and Mining to complete tier 2.

So thanks a freaking lot for making me find out about this, now I'm stuck trying to complete this crap, when over half my matches are on forest colony.

I am so bored of forest colony.

Wow. And I thought I was unlucky with getting all T1 and only 1/2 T2 done, it would probably take just another evening or two, but this.. Ouch.

Can't say I blame you. Damn. Poor PGI spit in it's own bucket with this event.

For every one of these threads, I am so happy that I didn't play this weekend. My event tally sheet on my profile is a whole bunch of green check marks in a row, and more recently many red Xs. I find that I am happier when I'm not running on the gerbil wheel. Play when it's fun. Stop playing when it's work. You already have a day job - don't take on another that has a negative payout.

I just started today with the public maps, completed CW in 2 days. Got 2 maps to tier 2 and 4 more to tier 1. I think this will take some time but I'll likely only go for tier 1 rewards.

I feel your pain, this event has made me want to punch a manatee. I have very limited weekend playtime so it is hard for me to participate in events anyway, so the RNG aspect of this one has been particularly frustrating. It is not looking like I'm going to have time to complete it this morning.

This event brought out the worst in me.
I had my first team kill since 3/2014 late last night,
It was raining LRMs and a guy was standing behind me.
Of course I tried to back up out of the rain but could not.
So I turned around and just started shooting him in a rage.
I am not at all happy with myself and I am very sorry.
I few seconds later I got killed myself and a rage quit.
I only have one map left to finish tier 1 but I think I'm done.
I don't like what this event brings out in me.
