So I've been around long enough to remember when buying a color only unlocked the color for a specific mech chassis (at least that's how I think it was anyway). Now color unlocks are universal (thank jebus), and I was wondering if camo patterns worked the same way? I know faction specific patterns don't.. but do ones like Phranken unlock universally across all variants?

colors are global, camos are for mech chassis - buying it for a raven 3l will give you the camo for all other ravens too.

One shot camos are single use for one mech but can be recolored as often as you want.

Got it... guess I'll keep using one shots then.

one shots are the way to go, the unlocks are just too expensive. for that money, you can paint 10 mechs with one shots, no mech has that much variants, not even close.
