No naming and shaming obviously. But this thread can be to post those absolutely bizarre things you've seen while playing.

Being in Tier 4 I see lots.

My favorite was today was the Founders Centurion with two LRM 5's and 3 Machine guns deliberately engaging at close range.

Saw an arctic cheetah with an LBX2.

My first comp drop here at MWO on HPG Manifold. My unit decides to camp under. 10 mins of poking out to see where the other team went. Tic toc tic toc getting boring, no sign of Red Team. I'm a scout light so I get the order to go out and see what's up.

And its a tower of mechs 12 high, all stacked on top of each other (they must have gotten really bored waiting for us). I'm laughing so hard I can barely aim.

Saw an Ice Ferret standing absolutely still against an Assault and a Heavy, and using its machine guns from 400 meters away. I thought for sure my rating went down.

I saw a dual AC/20 Cicada once.

It was assault mode on Crimson. He stayed on the base until everyone else on the team was dead and then got killed in 2 shots when the enemies arrived.

I saw a pilot in a kingcrab with small pulse lasers and machine guns face tanking a cliff, he was an easy kill.

Also, when an urbie rides a kingcrab, that never fails to make me laugh.

Well, about a week ago I pressed R on a DireWolf that powered up in front of me, and in a blind panic I noticed that someone had obviously been watching the B33f's DireStar videos.

I frantically reversed and torso twisted, even though I knew resistance was futile because it was at closeish range, he had me dead to rights, and I was in an Awesome.

He missed anyway.

Even better, he nailed the Centurion who was creeping up behind me to get to my juicy rear armour. Best TK ever. I had trouble killing him during his time out because I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to black out.

On topic saw a jenner on hpg up at the top standing still furiously chainfiring SPL's way out of range didn't move the atlas closed range right infront of him as the jenner continued to furiously chainfire standing still... Atlas pointed alphaed jenner went splat. No trolls on the team just a stream of lol's

I play like 60 hours a week so I see a lot of crazy stuff

Yesterday after I got killed I spectated in the disco Atlas (the map was forest colony)

It had the ejection seat icon on the screen

Today on a few CW drops I had no generator or omega symbols on my screen

The best is the bot

Two steps hop two steps hop you could set your watch to that thing they were not designed to kill you

A real person in control of a Jenner would have tore my raven apart

While playing CW I would disco as soon as I got near a generator when I was in my Raven
I also would have discos when I played against the Clans

I saw a jumpjetting DWF-S run into the corner of a building in Mining Collective. The mech suddenly shot up into the air on collision, so it ended up flying higher than an enemy UAV.

Had to check my drink if I wasn't downing too much mead too early in the evening. Turns out I wasn't, because the DWF ended up destroying itself by fall damage on the way down - right on top of an enemy kitfox.

No kitfoxes were (seriously) harmed in this accident. Also, remember to not drink and pilot your mech, guys! That is, unless you're a space viking who wants to go berserk.

In between alt tabing i got 6 kills in reverse before my keyboard started to work properly, i went on to get another 2 kills and my Ace of spades.

I once ran a 4x LBX2 Adder. It was like a more satisfying machine gun. Sadly about as effective. Only way I got that build to work was running at the heels of my assaults and just plinking away.

Once saw a guy that apparently thought the stock engine Atlas was too fast, so he refitted it with a 225.

Also, the Atari glitch (sometimes called the 8 bit glitch) back in open beta...
