Thread title says it all, has there been any official post, tweet, or fart from PGI about what they are doing?

Or do you think it's all going to be swept under the rug and ignored now that the event is over?

So far they removed the Guy that did a "Maximum Matchscore Test" with the "Trainings Lances" in CW.

They have suspended a bunch of people for the DCs. I never expected them to announce who or how many.

Haven't heard anything about the event results audit.

I'm not aware of anything happening beyond removing the guy who did 12,000 dmg and 44 kills in one match from the leaderboard.

From some folks affected (took like 70 DCs on top of 50 matches to actually see canyon apparently) I heard they got suspended for 3 days.

Whether or not that's actually true? I don't really care.

Short suspension's nothing. Someone will finish the event and then be unable to play for the next few weekdays when they wouldn't log on anyway. It's just so PGI can say they did something.

If they actually want to make a point they should suspend for two weeks and have the most generous and easy event ever next weekend.

I saw one player, reported on Tuesday for DC'ing several times during the event, playing yesterday. Maybe they are too busy with all the players reported, I don't know.

PGI promised they will introduce a rteporting functio n of intentional dcs etc, but nothing yet. IMO they have tons of data from last weekend to pile through to get the evil guys out, but I don't think they will do anything about it anyway.

It doesn't ultimately matter, because the event itself is mostly responsible for the DCs, but it is still the guilty who are also just as responsible. However, events should never be totally RNG based... it's bad enough that leaderboards cause people to do things that they don't normally do.

PGI (almost) never makes a big public spectacle of their punishments.

The only ones who got the head on a stake outside the castle gate treatment were the people using Aimbots and Wallhacks.

If your one guy DCing in pugland you get harsh punishment.

If your one of the elite or make twitch videos doing the Paris Hilton thing nothing will happen to you.

Remember the even larger list of cheaters Russ spoke of? He said they were doing study watching them.

Bull.

They don't care about you, Understand?

They don't care about you.

Money. That's it.

So think about how much your going to spend here. I know I have. Zero. I stopped.

This proves to me that PGI/Alex censorship is working. Everyone is stuck on DC's rather than the dozens of CW players who openly exploited for c-bills and points. Check reddit for screenshots and videos.

Like I said PGI/Alex protects the protected class here. Once that issue is raised the thread goes to k-town.

Tell us about the large list of cheaters Russ told us about Alex? What happened there?

Not me. I was more concerned with the manipulation that is commonplace in CW. I still think that anyone who can't justify a high score in CW should be disqualified and punished for a significant period of time, ie. a month.

Since the honest players have had to "suck it up because you can't prove it" I feel it's only fair that the cheaters get a bit of "Suck it up, you can't prove you weren't" for a change.
