Hey everyone! I've been a playing MW:O for a long while. I've recently decided to get into streaming so I'm still getting things tuned to be good to go, but I'm having a lot of fun with it and I already have some past broadcasts up for your viewing pleasure! I'm planning on doing a stream on twitch every Thursday around 6:30pm est to about 8:00pm est. You can find me at twitch.tv/PainGod30

I'm planning to do primarily MW:O, that'll be what Thursday's are. However, I would like to include some Arma 3, Elite Dangerous, and maybe a few other things that people would like to see me play. I will likely be streaming at other random times as I get free time but Thursday shall be your regularly scheduled mech on mech action!

So a little information on myself, I'm 23 and I have been playing Mechwarrior/Battletech since I was a kid. I've played a lot of Table Top Battletech as well as a fair amount of D&D 3.5. My first Mechwarrior game was Mechwarrior 2 and that had me hooked, I've read about 90% of the novels and have a huge stack of old source books. In my personal life I am working on my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, which is why my streams might be a bit random outside of Thursday's. I'm really excited to start streaming regularly and interacting with everyone! Hope to hear from you guys this Thursday!

Haha! Thanks! Definitely trying to start some stream hype! From what I've done so far it's been a lot of fun! I'm looking forward to doing it on a regular basis.

Good luck

I'll give a shout out on my next video for you

Thank you so much, Oldbob! Definitely love a shoutout and my next stream I'll be certain to send out one to you too!

So far I feel like I've got my base settings good to go so I can put out a high quality stream. I think from here on it's just the little things I'm still trying to figure out.

I definitely understand the time management thing. Going to work and finishing my degree are definitely time consuming, but I like the live stream over YouTube because I like the idea of interacting with people in realtime. That's what drove my decision. Although, I've got a YouTube set up for highlights and such.

Thanks for the luck and if you ever want to be in one of my stream videos, just let me know! We can do a few drops and talk about some big stompy robots.

Twitch is a better stream system and I used OBS (Open Broadcast system) for my streams and had the most things I can tweak on my stream with it...

Use Nightbot to help you with the mundane things at https://www.nightbot.tv/ Its great at tweeking some things and to have giveaways like I used to have Fleet Module Friday's where I would ask Star Trek Online Trivia and who ever guessed right got a prize or a fleet module...

I also Used Twitch Alearts http://www.twitchalerts.com/ to let me know when someone has subbed my channel or donated to my account is a great program that works with Twitch..

If I was you go with Twitch/TV than Youtube Stream as with youtube its a mess at the moment and not very user friendly and with twitch you have more of a base of people that will come to watch your stream. I plan on making a video on why I dont use twitch and switched to Youtube later on this weekend on my youtube channel as there are pitfalls with being on twitch that are to numerous to mention but it has its advantages as well so hit me up with a email and I can give you some advice here and there if you want.. I'm more than happy to help

Just know with Youtube and Twitch it takes YEARS to gain a good following just stick with it and most of all enjoy it while you play and interact with people...
