TBR. HBR, HBR, ACH

When those that want to mix it up, run the resistance 3 deck:

ACH, EBJ, SHC, EXE

I'm liking Timberwolfx2(Srm brawler and laser vomit) ,Mad Dog(Streak boat), Cheetah(spl). Hellbringer I don't like most enemies are smart and you lose the ecm torso fast, being said it's still a solid choice, especially if you're not being targeted. I'd change the mad dog to crow though is probably better choice even though not 240tons, I just prefer the mad dog.

Stormcrow can run ECM? Ahhhhh didn't know that. Also, sorry to ask this here, what exactly does counter ECM do? is it like a UAV and that I have to right next to them?

Thanks,
Fulgar

I think it was supposed to be Shadowcat, then both the loadout and tonnage make sense.

Counter ECM disables one enemy ECM within range, just makes it stop working completely.

Cram as much ECM as you can.
Hellbringers
Shadowcats
Arctic Cheetahs.

Anything else needs a pretty convincing reason to put it in the deck. As much as I'd like to bring the EBJ or something else, the Hellbringer exists and covers a lot of needs.

The best CW dropdeck is filled with mechs that suit your playstyle, and that compliment your other team members..

So bring what you like, and use it to its full potential..

Forget meta mechs... use what feels right, and what your most deadly in.

With the current drop deck....

I am using 2xStormcrow, Mad Dog and Hellbringer. That puts me at 5 tons under the limit. I have tweaked the weapon groups and seems to be working for me. However, I have been focused on the current event and not CW drops :)

Thanks,
Fulgar

I use The Kitfox prime, and every other Clan mech available at the moment.

All of them do what needs to be done to win.

I like TBR, EBJ, EBJ, ACH but there are a couple of combinations that work well. I would just attempt to fit as many heavies as possible. Assaults really don't seem to be worth the investment.

My clan decks are tweaked for weapon loadouts that are map dependent: more ballistics on hot maps (Sulphurous and Vitric) and more lasers on cold (Boreal and Portico).

Secondary consideration is range: Hellebore, Boreal and to some degree Sulphurous promote longer ranges while Taiga, Portico, and Vitric promote more close range builds.

I personally eschew LRM's but they have their place on the right maps (e.g. Boreal and Hellebore) and with the right level of coordination and support from teammates.

As for chassis, there are a variety that work well: TBR, HBR, EBJ, SCR, ACH are tried and true standbys that support the variety of loadouts mentioned above. Other clan chassis have specialized roles and can help flesh out tonnages when the map and loadout match the need: DWF, NVA, GAR, ADR, etc.

So, there's no one right answer, but you certainly have plenty of options.

A few of my favorite drop decks:

Executioner, Ebon Jaguar, Stormcrow, Mist Lynx (defense deck, weight & firepower frontloaded so ideally we never get to the mist lynx)

Executioner, Ebon Jaguar, Shadow Cat, Arctic Cheetah (for those that bought the can wave 3 pack and want to farm cbills...use all prime variants...lacks a bit of firepower compared to defense deck as we traded our Stormcrow for a shadowcat, however the cheetah is a much more useful mech than the mist lynx so it's a pretty fair trade)

Timberwolf x 2, Ebon Jaguar, Mist Lynx (attack deck, 3 heavies and only the ebon jag lacks jump jets)

Ebon Jaguar x 3, Shadow Cat (well rounded deck, no "weak" mechs but lacks jump jets except for the shadowcat)

Mad Dog x 4 (if you like missile boats, be they srm, lrm or steak style, this deck is solid and has no "weak link", just a crapton of missiles)
