I hadn't seen that clip yet, looking good! Animation doesn't look as backbreaking as the king crab which is nice.

Arms don't look like they will be dragging along the ground either, good stuff!

firstly there is like a ton of mediums which can take 2 ppc and some even have nice quirks for it

secondly, even among the clanner mediums nova is much better with 2 ppc than crow

Thats what I'm thinking as well, its going to have EbonJag style hitboxes but a little worse with the CT and most likely going to be too easy to core.

Just too many laservomit machines coming out lately, not enough mixed load for interesting builds IMO.

At least it has a decent engine cap, and one variant with JJ's, we'll just have to see what it gets for quirks and how the hitboxes and hardpoints play out.

I know that. We have the blackjack, vindicator, Enforcer, Sparky and Hawk.

But the crab has symmetry as well as a variant where all i have to do is take out 2 LPLs and put in 2 PPCs. Nifty. Also its profile is unlike most mediums, so it'll be unique (for good or bad).

I only bought crab package because Crab! That silly Wolfhound will just gather dust and I have no interest in the other offerings.

I don't really know what to make of it, other than the arms aren't really able to shield it (despite having lower arm actuators... at least what I'm told) anyways.

The right claw looks pretty sizable, should be able to hide a bit behind that.

Hopefully it'll be as zippy as portrayed, more run with your gun.

One of my favorite mechs, but judging by how the Black Knight got ****** up I highly doubt it's going to unseat the Wolverine, Hunchback, or Blackjack as the party favorite IS medium laser boats.

Give it's shape I wouldn't be surprised if it got Novascaled on top of ****** perks.

it doesn't cover your side torso therefore you cannot hide behind it
unless you hide your leg of course
