Someone had a similar idea somewhere but I just simplified it.

Your torso weapons don't converge (IE, they all fire straight ahead) unless you push R and target, then they will converge at the distance that target is at (so, on that target basically).
You arms just converge wherever they are aiming as usual (so you can snap to your torso reticle and still have them line up with your torso weapons)

This will show people to push R for once and solve some other horsesh*t as well (giant pinpoint alphas from way off etc etc). Then fi you want to sit way at the back like a precious flower and fling laser vomits etc at people you better have a bro in a little Commando showing where the enemy is. Toss it in the tutorial so the new guys know how it works.
