How Do You Find People To Drop With?

I used to hangout with a few guys in a "clan" (before they were implemented) that have since broken up. I'm an average player, trying to improve.. but mostly looking for fun. I finally got a new headset with a mic. I've always found games, be it Quake 3, BattleField 4, StarCraft II, or whatever I'm playing to be much more fun with TS/Vent/Skype.

Second, to meet people just pop on the comstar teamspeak server, find people playing and ask if you can play a bit with them. If you like someone see if their clan/team whatever is cool too.
Seems like a good place to start anyways.
*Edit* Also feel free to add me and send a message if I'm playing. Just be warned I'm an underhiver and while I can play seriously I have way too much fun in ac20 ravens and the like to want to bother.

I don't judge.
Otherwise you can just communicate with folks in matches in chat, you find someone cool and after the match send a friend request. If they accept you might get together and drop. This creates a little network of people who all drop together and end up on each others friends list.
You can also join an org but that's an absolute craps shoot. Better to just find people who seem cool, shoot them a friends request and build a group that way.

I have a pretty extensive list. At any time I will be lucky if any are on. Most have quit the game completely.

That's how it has worked for me, thus far.
Doing well can even be as simple as communicating with people in-game about enemy movements, suggested attack plans, etc. It can also be as simple as escorting that one guy with a unit tag playing a DWF.

You could say it's as easy as taking your hand out of the jar of glue.
