Feel free to post the oddest reasons why you prefer to pilot some mechs no matter how silly it would be (nice cockpit item positioning works too).
For me its the nice open view cockpit. I mean look up and its clear there so easy to look around and spot the occasional ****** on highground. Other mechs like Centurion and Thudnerbolt have this stupid bar ontop that hinders the view and almost gives a feel like wearing an infantry helmet(hated those).

So yeah cant wait to hear about your reasons.

I love my Centurion. It's not the fastest, or the toughest, or the most powerful. In fact it is very similar to its stock build. It even still uses single heat sinks.

But I can kick almost anybody's ass in that Centurion. Even Assault mechs have fallen to my AC/10 and SRMs in a one-on-one duel.

But, the real reason why I love it is it's "knight in shining armor" look. It's why I bought it, it's why I maxed it out and it's why I still play it to this day.

My Centurion AL is my first mech and I still have it.

For love, I would say my Hellbringers. They are my main mechs for CW, and I prefer them over the Stormcrow, Mad Cat and Ebon Jaguar. One of them is due to the high points, their tankability, the ECM omnipod, and a great balance of protection and mobility. I like to nickname them my Winbringers.

The Adder, it brings back memories, it was the very first clan mech I ever salvaged in the board game and used whenever I was not piloting my Crab and in MWO she looks smooth and her movement is as sleek as I imagined it to be, and I love how short she is as it makes me harder to hit.

it was also the last mech I used against my brother before he went into the military & losing touch with him which was why I was dead set on getting one in this game....
