Been using AC2's and other stuff and occasionally I get a Kill at over 600-800 meters and it rates as nothing XP-wise and there is no Long-Ranger achievement either, but it is usually a difficult shot. There is Brawling, Flanking, Headshot, but no Long-Ranger/Sniper, etc. It wouldn't hurt to acknowledge the contribution.
