During the Fall, here in North America, we often have pink themed events to raise awareness of breast cancer and support cancer charities in general.. If you have ever seen our football players wearing pink socks, you know what I mean.
I thought it would be a great idea to have one of the MWO tournaments do the same thing.

I was thinking that you would have to purchase a special event shade of pink and have it as your primary mech color during the tournament to qualify. PGI then could give the proceeds to a cancer foundation.

Does this sound like a good idea? If so, does anybody have any idea how to get this run up the PGI flagpole?

Any ideas on prizes? I think a pink bikini top hanging cockpit item. Show 'em you helped save the boobies!

To those of us that have lost loved ones to cancer,
Daxxx

PGI isn't likely to do charity stuff again, after their experience with Sarah's Jenner and all of the international complications.

So, whether it should or not, it very likely won't.

I heard some of the sad story of Sarah. I can't fathom how that would go bad for PGI on an international scale.
I know the saying "No good deed goes unpunished" but what happened?

I don't know what the exact issues were, as they probably didn't elaborate. I know they had to have a completely separate payment system for this, but the other hassles were likely administrative. They had a post with links to the cancer centers for many countries and suggested we donate directly if we wanted to donate more.
