I'm starting to stream my journey on MWO and learning throughout the way. My small goal atm is to T1! Started at T5 and barely grazing T3 now! If you want to come chill and give me tips/tricks it'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

You have my administration. I am Tier 5 and have played since December 2013.

Greetings All,
I, too, am envious, Ryzu95, does anyone know how to tell if/when you have gone up a tier? I see the up/down/equal signs at the end of the matches, but what/where tells you how you are doing?
thanks for any help.

The tiers are on the home screen and the little bar beneath it says where you are placed within that tier. Left is lower. Right is higher.

Unfortunately, there is no indication of scale on the left-to-right bar. I'm in Tier 4, for instance. I started (when the patch went live and we could first see our tier) above the second M in MINIMIZE. After a short night, 8 matches (5 raises, two reductions, one equal), I was over the Z in MINIMIZE. Moved about two letters. But there's no scale, and no solid indication of exactly how far one has progressed without counting pixels.
AND AGAIN (I know, broken record), without some better explanation of how some of the PSR points work (what is SCOUTING, BRAWLING, FLANKING, and so on, according to the system that has to decide if you've accomplished as much), we're at a disadvantage here. SURE, if you're in a TBR-C MetaWolf, you just vomit damage downrange at your enemies until your score magically ascends to Tier 1. If you want to actually be the dude doing those other things, though, you actually have no idea what the metagame is to accomplish a decent match score for your efforts. We're flying f***ing blind on this.
Anyhow, good luck to OP on the ascent to Tier 1. Want to impress us? Do it in a Commando. ;-)

Ryzu
Im steadily creeping through the top end of T4, not that i want to move up. The Beagle Probe or Clan Probe seems to help me out. Providing at least some Scouting bonuses/ easy locks, enhanced awareness. Try it for 10-15 games see if it helps you as much as it helps me.
Wins seem to matter most the extra lock range seems to help others focus fire, since they can easily shoot at the middle of the red box =P
